Sophia Reyes | Out of the Box

As excitement for Chicago's Fashion Focus Week drums up, we think it's fitting to welcome a new (for us) local designer to our shop. Sophia Reyes is an established Illinois-based talent with a Parson's degree and a keen eye for lines and fabrics that exude elegance and modernity.

Her tops, though simple at first glance, are brilliantly constructed to flatter nearly any figure type. They can be hard working 9-5 staples or evening classics for years to come.

Dieter Bennet Out of the Box

We are so excited about Dieter Bennet.  The line is a collaboration between a former sculptural art student and a merchandiser / stylist who worked for Jil Sander (can you tell?).  They are both locally based but the aesthetic is heavily European.  

This collection features a soft but edgy-looking textural pallette of cotton blends.  The colors range from subtle nudes and darks to juicy citrus shades.  We think this designer is an excellent choice for the times: versitile, understated, optimistic.
